Somebody call the cops, 'cause we killed it...

A couple of weekends ago, I got the chance to go fishing with Scott Scargle and Ken Baker - good friends of mine from UF.  Actually, I've known them since I was 14 in high school, and they had just started college.  Anyways, Scott recently got a sweet new boat and we broke it in with 2 days of fishing off Cedar Key.

Good times.  We knocked out a couple groupers over 25 inches, and the highlight was Ken Baker reeling in a 44 inch kingfish - it was a whale.  The last hour, we probably caught close to 100 fish.  It was like the ocean had exploded with mackeral and ladyfish just going nuts.

These are good friends - made me miss the old college life a little bit when I was with them, hanging out in Gainseville.  Then again, none of us had a boat back then...
